WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Established in 1974, MGS Technical Plastics is a privately-owned plastic injection moulding company. Our headquarters in Blackburn opened in 2013 and includes both offices and a factory; it is home to our team of experts consisting of highly trained moulding technicians, toolmakers, quality engineers and multi-skilled operatives.

MAINTAINING THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS
Our quality assurance procedures are backed by our recently audited IATF16949 accreditation, the latest recognised international quality standard for the automotive sector. We have 18 injection moulding machines, ranging in size from 35 to 900 tonnes, allowing us to manufacture products of various sizes. We continually invest to increase our capability, which is evidenced by our recent addition of robots, a 3D printer, and an overhead crane.

Our MD helps steer the regeneration of our local town, whilst many of our employees raise funds for causes close to their heart and even run 10 km every year for a local charity.
